ABOUT P90

Pricing intelligence for the AI products people actually run.

P90 is AI Pricing Operations for product, finance, and engineering teams that need one operating view of AI cost variance, margin exposure, and pricing decisions.

Why p90 exists

AI products can look profitable in aggregate while a small group of users, a retry cascade, a growing context window, or an infrastructure peak quietly erodes margin. P90 exists to make that exposure visible before it becomes a pricing or growth problem.

A workspace represents one product. Organizations hold multiple products. Each product can send telemetry through the SDK, connect provider and revenue data, or give an internal assistant bounded MCP access to its monitoring context.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Price from the distribution

The average request is not the commercial risk. The expensive tail, retries, context growth, and peak concurrency decide whether a price can survive real customer behavior.

Keep the math inspectable

Core cost calculations, pricing floors, tier boundaries, and margin scenarios are deterministic. Teams should be able to trace a recommendation back to operational evidence.

Keep people accountable

P90 can monitor, detect, simulate, and recommend. It does not make a pricing change by itself. A person reviews the evidence and approves the selected option.

Treat a product as a system

AI economics include retrieval, context construction, orchestration, retries, concurrency, evaluation, and revenue. Model token cost alone is not a pricing strategy.

What the product does

  1. 01Collect product, provider, and revenue signals for a workspace.
  2. 02Measure tail cost, gross margin, retries, context growth, and concurrency against product-specific thresholds.
  3. 03Attribute an anomaly to its cost layer and simulate the margin consequence.
  4. 04Present ranked options with plain-language Decision Evidence and retain the approved decision as an audit record.

Start with the evidence you already have.

Connect a product, model its cost stack, and use the dashboard to see where its pricing is exposed.
